Following a number of clinical leadership roles, Colin was the Executive Director of Provider Services (COO) for Hawke’s Bay DHB before stepping into the private sector. Colin is the co-founder and director of a number of healthcare organisations across New Zealand. With a particular focus on the development of new healthcare facilities for regional New Zealand, these organisations now have over 200 specialists as owner operators.

Charlene Van Der Merwe

Executive Assistant

Charlene is the Executive Assistant at Long White Cloud and the operational backbone behind its portfolio of healthcare and investment ventures. As Executive Assistant, she plays a central role in ensuring a complex, multi-entity business runs smoothly and efficiently.

With a background in commercial underwriting and finance, Charlene is often the first point of contact for stakeholders and investors. Her strengths include financial administration and reporting support, governance and compliance coordination, and all investor relations. She brings a depth of institutional knowledge that comes from years of experience embedded within the business, helping to provide continuity, structure, and operational clarity across the organisation.

Naomi is a Project Manager at Long White Cloud, working across a range of projects including construction, technology development, marketing, and sales. She brings a strong foundation in organisation and coordination, developed through her previous experience in administration and operations at a national UK charity based in London.

He has played a key role in shaping and supporting complex healthcare projects, with a strong focus on creating sustainable and well-structured financial frameworks.
